Linda S. Anderson

Linda S. Anderson is associate director for marketing and circulation of Illinois Issues and Center Publications. She is responsible for developing Illinois Issues' niche in the public affairs publishing field and marketing the magazine to the public. Linda is also responsible for advertising and underwriting of the magazine. She directs promotion of the Center's other publications. She joined Illinois Issues in September 2007. It is a homecoming of sorts, because Linda worked as a graduate assistant with the magazine in 1997-98, before spending seven years in Illinois' public school system as an English and journalism instructor. Prior to becoming an educator, Linda worked in the public relations, communications and marketing fields for not-for-profits, associations, state government and corporate employers. Linda received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
